Chicken Insalata - Vapiano Miami - Munch Miami Gluten Free Review

An Italian eatery is surely a place gluten free crowd wants to stay away from. However, Vapiano makes sure they cater to everyone’s needs. Their very inclusive and comprehensive menu has options for any taste bud and food restriction. Launching their seasonal menu this past week, March & April are looking delicious already!

Vapiano Recommendations:

Vapiano’s cafeteria style ordering makes it simple to place your order and enjoy your evening. Their new seasonal menu has really warm tones and brings out the winter warmth we’re looking for during the often random Miami winter season.

As always we started our evening with a few drinks and had the opportunity to try a variety of some of their local favorites. With a splash of Limoncello, their Not So Old Fashioned is an interesting twist to an old classic. The Strawberry Basil Sangria is really refreshing and a very easy drink… almost dangerous! Finally, the Rosemary Fizz is a light and aromatic drink that pairs perfectly with this seasonal menu and the Aperol Spritz is an Italian classic that any menu can’t do without!

We started our meal with a warm comforting bowl of classic Potato Soup, loaded with Parmesan cheese, bacon, and Rosemary. If you’re a lover of creamy soups, this classic potato soup will really hit the spot.

If soup’s not your thing, we definitely suggest trying out their new Chicken Insalata. Just like most things at Vapiano, you’re not looking at your basic chicken salad. Filled to the brim with mixed greens, grilled chicken, potatoes, red onions, and topped with parmesan cheese, mangos, and a homemade curry vinaigrette. This salad is delicious and beyond filling. We bet you wont be able to finish it on your own.

After the Insalata, we went ahead and ordered the Risotto a la mode: loaded with Grana Padano cheese, snow peas, and thyme, this delicious creamy dish is served with a fresh lime slice which we suggest you squeeze over the risotto before you take a big spoonful.
