In Hawaiian, ‘Poké means “to slice or cut.” A Poke Bowl is composed of cuts of raw fish atop a bed of rice and vegetables. Seems pretty simple, right? Right in the heart of Brickell, Poke305 has perfected this dish. They present each of their dishes beautifully, adding a latin kick by using fresh fruits like pineapple and guava in their sauces and pairing them with your choice of Yuca or plantain chips.

Fresh Ingredient Assembly Line

We started off by giving their sweet and tropical Nani bowl a try. The Nani contains shrimp, salmon, pineapple, tangerine, mango, lynchee, avocado, scallion, edamame, kimichi, nori, masago, coconut flakes, guava and passion fruits suace. All of these wonderful ingredients combined make for one beautiful bowl, we almost felt bad diving into it with our forks.

Wanting to try a more savory rather than sweet dish, we gave the Koa a try. The Koa bowl contains tuna, edamame, daikon, radish, ginger, scallion, tangerine, kale chips, garlic crunch and yuzu cilantro sauce. Typical of all Poke 305’s dishes, the Koa is vibrant in color and exploding with flavor.

After the 2nd bowl we wanted to mix it up a bit and try one of their infamous Poke Burritos. We opted for the Laki poke burrito with chicken, daikon, green beans, red onions, kimchi, pineapple, scallion, nori, white sesame, plantain chips and Korean BBQ sauce. What’s great about the wraps is that you can enjoy any of their signature dishes in an easy, compact but filling on the go vessel. Definitely makes for a great quick lunch grab!
