If you’re looking for a quick morning bite before heading to work or want a post workout boost, definitely give the Chia Seed Pudding a try. The pudding has a great balance of salty and sweet and it comes packaged in a to-go container, so you don’t have to wait for it to be prepared. All you have to do is grab it, pay for it, and go!
Juicense has taken the quick pace lifestyles we all lead into consideration, and has taken the wait out of good quality eating by providing quick grab and go items for you to choose from.
One of our favorite items from their grab-and-go options had to be the Raw Oatmeal: steel cut oats, buckwheat, cashew, dates, flaxseed, vanilla, coconut, cinnamon, and sea salt. Really rich in flavor, served cold, this perfectly portioned dish brings some really great seasonal flavors together for a delicious sweet treat secretly disguised as a healthy meal.
Next we tried their Classic Acai Bowl. Containing some of the freshest, never frozen acai, blended with almond butter and almond milk, topped with freshly cut bananas and their gluten free coconut chia granola. Juicense prides itself for its always fresh acai; never watered down or mixed with guarana. A tie as one of our favorite items on the menu, this really is a true hard-to-find gem and a definite must try.
If you’re looking for something a little heartier and want some more veggies on your plate, we recommend trying the Raw Zoodles. Made with zucchini noodles, corn, feta cheese, walnuts, hemp seeds, and drizzled with a homemade dressing, this savory dish is a great lunch alternative to the pizza and sandwiches you’ll find in the surrounding area.
If you’re just looking for a quick sweet treat. Juicense has got you covered here, too! With rotating menu items like chocolate chip cookies, Key Lime Pie, chocolate mousse, chocolate chunk fudge brownies, you really can’t go wrong. We had the opportunity of trying their certified gluten free key lime pie which had a raw walnut, dried coconut, date, and sea salt crust filled with an avocado, maple syrup, and lime juice mousse.
If you’re trying to recover from a weekend of drinking, or eating a lot of red meat, or too many sweets, you’ll definitely want to try out their detox shots. The one pictured below is called the De-Bloat: apple, lemon, turmeric, and chamomile extract. Designed to relieve upset stomachs, help with digestion, and inflammation, this tiny yet potent golden elixir is the way to go if you’re looking for a natural way of healing any stomach related woes.
