It’s official… summer is here! The thought of sitting outside might seem like a nightmare during these crazy heat waves, but Cecconi’s Miami has created an oasis tucked away inside one of the most exclusive hotels Miami Beach has to offer, Soho House. With pergolas wrapped in beautiful floral vines, tree canopies creating shade and an irresistible breeze, and beautiful marble tables to keep you feeling cool, Cecconi’s brings a rustic faraway beauty to the Miami Beach scene.
Offering an incredible happy hour every week, Tuesday through Saturday from 4 pm to 7 pm, you’ll find amazing food and drink options ranging from $4 to $9. We gave the deviled eggs, Ciao Bella, Lavender Collins, and the Chinola Shake Up a try and it’s possibly some of the best light bites and drink options you can find on any happy hour menu at an unbeatable price. One of the drinks not in the happy hour but definitely worth a try is the Old Grand Dad Smash; one of our favorite drinks to date. Also check out spicy Picante de la Casa and the classic Aperol Spritz!
If you can’t make it to their happy hour, no worries, Cecconi’s offers some unbelievable Italian cuisine with amazing gluten free options for you to enjoy (check out their all day menu). From their hearty Cannellini soup to their beautifully artistic take on pizza, Cecconi’s takes fine Italian cuisine to the next level.
Cecconi’s take on gluten free pizza was probably one of the most interesting we’ve seen. Normally you’ll get a thin crust pizza, with your basic red sauce and cheese toppings. However, Cecconi’s not only introduces some unique toppings (Speck, Scamorza, Zucchini, Pistacchio pictured above) but they also give you a real thick crust! We have to say the colors, flavors, texture, and density took us to gluten free heaven!
In case you’re not in the mood for a slice of pie, we definitely recommend trying out their Garganelli Bolognese or their NY Steak. Perfectly portioned and seasoned to perfection, you’ll leave feeling happy and satisfied with your selection.
Last but not least, the desserts at Cecconi’s are on a league of their own. The Chocolate Vegan Tart, paired with homemade raspberry sorbet was decadent and guiltlessly delicious. The Pineapple Carpaccio with Blood Orange Sorbet is the perfect refreshing summer dessert. If you’re not in the mood for dessert, there are different coffee options ranging from cappuccino to a nice cup of Italian Espresso.
